Four fire engines along with an incident command unit have attended a building fire at Silver Howe Farm in Gosforth.
Fire crews were called at 10:50am on Wednesday 28 October.
The fire involved a single storey barn.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Crews used one main pump, two light portable pumps, five main jets, one hose reel jet and three breathing apparatus.
“Crews were in attendance for approximately twelve hours.”
