Three people have been arrested following an incident at 7:30pm on the 10th November at Market Court, Penrith, which continued into St Andrews Church yard.
The report was of a disturbance at a property in the area.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “A 53-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon, he has been released on police bail.
“A 47-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon, she has been released on police bail.
“A 49-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon. He has been released under investigation.”
