Cumbria police are investigating an attempted burglary that occurred on Edward Street, Carlisle at around 7:50pm on Friday 20 November 2020.
A large group of around ten males attempted to gain access to the property on the street with at least three carrying metal poles.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Suspects have smashed both front windows and forced the front door. The group then got into three vehicles including a silver Astra, a black estate and a further unknown vehicle.
“Nobody was believed to have been injured in the incident.
“Police are appealing for any witnesses or any information that can assist with this investigation. Police are also requesting anyone with CCTV, dashcam or smart doorbells to review any footage that could assist.”
